Lovely...
...but...
... £152,815.

I know, new cars are going to cost more than used ones, inflation and foreign policy has devalued the £, people can't expect new cars for tuppence, etc. However, that surprises me. I know it's a premium product aimed at people who will pay premium prices but I would have guessed at something still in high five figures.
If chasing very wealthy clientele is a successful business model for the G Wagn, perhaps Jaguar have a point in aiming cars at an extremely rich niche market after all?
If I could afford one, the beige would be great.
i bet they sell every single one...but...

Looks better than the blingy modern ones but bet the ride is still s
te though!
This has the advantage of looking like a very old one, while keeping the underpinnings of the new one.
Mercedes didn’t make the same mistake as Land Rover, they made the new one look *exactly* the same as the old one despite it being very much a brand new vehicle. The new G handles much more like a regular SUV, rather than the 1980s military truck experience of the old one.
I'd have the green version with the smallest/simplest petrol engine and go do an 'Otto' MK2 with it

Why can't merc go back to making these regular looking g wagons instead of these fancy ones that you only see driving around west london.
To be fair to Mercedes they will happily sell you a regular G350D or G500; it’s just that the footballers, rappers, and rug sellers of West London seem to prefer the blingy AMG versions. Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
