yes But IME the 18v Makita bump feed works perfectly.
As it happens and as I type Wifey is battling some rather heavy duty stuff with ours to clear a pathway to the new chicken coop that we put some Bantams in yesterday. I'll nip down with a lager for her and take a few pics hehe......................

EGO 48v. Mine replaced a honda which was a pita. The ego is fantastic in every way. Good life, spool widget works well. And always ready to go.

So good I bought a second multi tool version with a selection of heads.
Can it turn at right angles and do lawn edges ? My Flymo Contour Heavy Duty gave up the ghost and I looked at EGO (because I have both 10Amph and 12 Amph batteries ...But I thought I needed the combo and strimmer head . (Bought another Flymo because I knew it would do what I wanted)
I also have a two stroke strimmer for brushwood

The strimmer no, but I just rotate the whole strimmer as it's light enough to do so and obviously happy to run in any orientation being electronic. The multi-head version has a tool for edging though.

That’s what I call mine. I use it whenever I encounter an overgrown garden.

That's spooky timing RC. I've just bought this at Brico Messancy. It was €127, discounted from 159 with a loyalty card.

I didn't really want a battery powered one as all my other tools are petrol or cabled.

Can anyone help if I can change the head of my cheapo bq jobbie I picked up used last year.

Really hoping I can swap for a blade version but cant find out if there is a universal blade swap.

Excuse the grass we only moved in last year and it’s had a fair bit of scarifying…..

Thank you for all the input and suggestions. There’s a lot of different responses to look at there.

Grande Pedro: I’ve never been to Messancy. I think the only cross border shopping in that direction comes from pIKEA. laugh
