Is it really speed that causes the accidents?
Discussion
I know its the USA but...
www.metrokc.gov/health/ems/caraccidents.htm
Apperently 23% of the 37% that were involved in accident and were speeding, also had an alcohol concentration of 0.10.
These statistics always go deeper than first appear.
I wonder what the percentages are in the UK of accidents actually caused by errors other than speeding.
ie you may have been speeding when you crashed but had you checked your mirrors and stopped playing with the stereo you may not have not crashed in the first place, regardless of the speed you were doing.
