RANT

Scene today M90 southbound. MoJo on way to work in the shed. Around 90 inside lane etc etc. Spots silver BM closing from rear about 1/4 mile away. Closure rate is high. Hmmm. Slow gradually and see blues come on as blind numptie pulls out in front of now observed traffic car. Numptie pulls back in and BM accelerates again, goes past MoJo at est 120/130.

Gets to my turn off J5. Except traffic car has blocked M'way (rather you than me mate) and diverting everyone off up slip and que. You can either go left to glenrothes or right to crook of devon at top of slip.

So why did some 4ucks then go straight on and back onto the now closed M'way?? One police man who was on foot and heading up slip to direct traffic didn't look too happy at this.

Not to worry a second traffic car came from crook of devon direction and onto the south slip.

I sincerly hope that he had these vehicles on video and that the drivers will face the full effect of the law.

The motorway was closed in both directions (never a good sign) due to a very serious accident.

Whew thats better.

MoJo.

Playing Devil's Advocate here, but if the on slip was still open, how was anyone to know that he reason for closing the motorway was not between the off and on slips? I don't know the location and the sight-lines might negate my question, but it's a fair question for all that. Suggesting that these motorists need any further punishment than the b0ll0cking they would get on arriving at the accident site (assuming there was one) and the consequent delay, might be a little over the top.

in a nutshell streaky both leaving and joining slips are visible and you can see quite a fair way into the distance as it's straight for quite a bit.

these were punters who were "jumping" the queue and driving straight back onto the M'way.

Yeah, just got my goat that trafic pol was standing in motorway (car across lanes) stopping traffic (would you like to try that?) and these turds were blatently taking the piss.

cheers

MoJo.

Until the car blocked the on-slip, what would have prevented someone approaching the junction from the A-road and turning onto the motorway in all innocence?
