Basingstoke PHers BEWARE
Discussion
As I posted elsewhere, the man-with-a-van (or lady-with-a-van) we saw on our day out is regularly seen by me on the A33 between Chineham and the start of the d-c towards Reading. Especially since it's been changed from NSL to 50 all the way through.
Ironically, I've never known so many accidents as in the last couple of months since the limit was reduced. I think the new traffic lights for the waste place at Chineham don't help either -- the queue can build right up to the blind crest just before them which can catch out the unwary.
btw, does anyone know what the source of the flowers tied to the fence/daffs in the ground just before the little chef is about? I'm guessing it's a fatal RTA but it must be before my time here. It also looks like one of the safer sections, too (imho).
