man who dropped phone caused road smash chaos
a failed asylum seeker caused chaos when he dropped his mobile phone when driving.
adam rzepka,18,of ashburnham road,southend,admitted 5 criminal offences after causing 2 crashes on november 8th last year.
police had to be called when rzepka,who is appealing against the discision not to grant him asylum,fled the scene and an angry mob of drivers chases and attacked him,southend magistrates court heard last thursday.
rzepka,who is originaly from poland and spoke through an interpreter,was driving his uncles ford fiesta along fairfax drive,westcliff,when he bent down to answer his mobile phone.
as he did so he took his eyes off the road and went straight through a red light at the junction with westbourne grove.
he realised what he had done and swerved to avoid traffic - however he lost control and ploughed into a traffic light.
another car that had attempted to avoid hitting rzepka's fiesta then ploughed into oncoming traffic - fortunatly no-one was seriously hurt.rzepka,who had no insurance or valid drivers licence,then fled the scene.the car had no m.o.t and the tax disc was found to be a fake.rzepka pleaded guilty to charges of failing to stop at a road accident,no licence,no insurance,no m.o.t and fraudulant use of vehicle licence.he was fined a total of £250 plus £43 costs and banned from driving for 18 months.
now this realy pissed me off,he caused an accident,did a runner,had no docs and no right to be on the road YET he got a fine that isnt even the equivelent of getting done for just no insurance.....as for the 'BANNED FOR 18 MONTHS' bit well thats just a
in joke,he didnt have a licence when he crashed and you can bloody garentee he is still driving around anyway (the amount of illegal drivers in southend during the day is amazing....you can see them in their old shitters a mile off,its just a pity the cops aint ever about to see it or when they do,they do sod-all about it) and laughing at this pathetic excuse for a fine.
ffs i got done in 1996 in great yarmouth for a tyre that was just under the limit (1.4mm) because he couldnt fault the car on anything else (and he REALY looked round it) and the anal w*nker got me a £400 fine PLUS points!.......and i still have the payment slip to prove it too (according to my brief, the motherhumping inbreds in g.y.m.c dont like londoners and rip them a new arsehole when they get caught round there.....unlike their own 3-eyed,6-legged,humpbacked offspring)
now,will someone please try to tell me why there is one rule for some but another for the others??.....this is another display of one-sided justice yet again......screw the victims,the tw@ who caused it whilst driving illegally MUST be helped.......YEAH,GIVE HIM (AND OTHERS LIKE HIM) A FECKIN PUBLIC BURCHING,ONCE ITS SEEN AS THE NORMAL PUNISHMENT FOR THIS OFFENCE THAT'D STOP ONE HELL OF ALOT OF THESE PRATTS!

Oh for goodness sake, I wish people would say what they mean instead of dancing around with polite language!
You have my sympathies Tinaman, but WTF can we do?
I suspect a start would be to collect a nice fat dossier of such stories and an equally fat one of similar fines incurred where no damage was caused and/or bans given out to people who would be affected.
Dump that on the doorstep of No. 10, local MP's, etc. and talk to them to make sure they get the message!

after reading the story i had to put it on here,this is definatly one for the 'stupid sentences' pile.
what peed me off even more was that there was a story about a guy getting a massive fine for speeding,yet he'd got a licence,had a legal car,was on a derestricted road AND didnt cause a single accident......it just makes you want to strangle the 'speed kills' tw@ts,it realy does.
oh well,at-least i still have goodwood to look forward too.
