Getting the picture

Greetings,
Back in january i got Gatso'd, i was lost in a strange town, looking for a site at 8:30am on a sunday. I missed the 30mph change from a 40 zone on Broadwater road in Worthing and was caught at 41mph. I remember when i got the paperwork through that they would only issue the photograph if i contested it, I didnt risk it and took the conditional offer much to the delight of my insurance company (£760 for a H reg rover 214 x_x)
Come to today it is mentioned in a previous post that you should always get the photo if possible. Since the NIP said that they would only issue if i contested. What could be done to obtain the picture if there ever is a next time. I have a Snooper S4 now, I'm thinking about a second detecter purely for radar, possibly a cheetah. Hopefully this should prevent reoccurences thanks to my snooper telling me what the speed limit is for a trap as i approach it.

I'd be interested to know this as well having just received a NIP.
It only gives you an option to admit you were driving or nominate someone else etc. I have written asking for photo proof but the NIP states that this will only be supplied to the person who admits they are the offender! Needless to say I am yet to receive a reply and the 28 day period to return the signed NIP is ticking away..
