Chairman Bob Davies told the Thame Gazette that one of the judges of the fancy dress competition, local MP Boris Johnson, was given a special present to mark his 40th birthday. He explained: "A Piece of Cake made him a special cake but instead of candles, it had a flashing speed camera on it. He has nearly clocked up 12 points but took it in the good humour it was intended."
