Tonyrec/DVD/Dibble/Streetcop.
If a biker got stopped and BiB noticed tyre wear was borderline, would the biker be nicked if the bike was booked into a dealer to have a replacement ( easily checkable with a phone call)

Cases like this generally attract the VDRS (Veh Defect Rectification Scheme) and by booking a tyre then you are ahead of the game are you not?

Would be a very constipated BiB to take it any further if what you say is correct.

If it was me and it was borderline, probably not, especially if it was already booked in - matbe VDRS at a push.

I'd have thought most bikers wouldn't let it get to that stage though. Most tend to take better care of their machines than people do of cars.
