Grrrrrrrrr......

My newly installed Origin B2 interferes with AM radio reception. 5-Live (my drive to work listening) sounds like it's coming direct from a beach - waves crashing rhythmically in the background.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Any thoughts on a cure?

People still listen to AM?!?

Sorry that doesnt help! Suppresor on the electric feed maybe? I am assuming that its interference being trasnmitted from the unit via the cars electrical wiring.

It's on DAB isn't it?

The problem is either conducted or radiated interference. If conducted, then a common mode supression choke on the B2's power leads may help. I suspect it's more likely to be radiated however, and this is considerably trickier to cure satisfactorily (can't really slap the B2 into a metal box).

Try moving the location of the Origin unit and see if that helps. Ensure that your car aerial is properly grounded.

Regulary listen to Talksport on AM. No problems with the b2.

Don't understand how it can affect radio.
