Well, don't they?
They = HMG, Us = anyone with a motor vehicle.

Look at what they are doing to us. We must be so evil to be punished like we are in order to be sooooo nice to real criminals.

Go on, let's make a list of everything they do to hurt the wallet of the honest motorist... start here;-

* road tax: only 15% used on roads

....over to you.

Makes me wonder why on earth road tax isn't included in petrol, it's not as if we don't pay enough for the stuff.

Then scrotes, at least don't have to worry about not having any tax.
But then again, they drive off from forecourts without paying.

But the government still gets the fuel duty; it's the retailer who loses.

I reckon the latest car-pool thing, and the 4x4 tax is part of BLiars plan to "make everyone equal" by making car ownership nasty.

They don't hate us, they see us as a revenue source. They're constantly inventing new ways to get more out of us. Same as 100s of years ago. But then we had Robin Hood to steal the money back and redistribute it to the poor.
