Thats a good letter mate. I fear however that they will give you the " looking for illegal cars/drivers" spiel as a way of justification.
I dont have anything against "cruisers" so long as they have someplace thats safe for them and for us to go.
Seems like the arses in charge of road policing just want to be heavy handed and provocative, and the councils dont or actively wont set aside some plot for these folks to go and enjoy themselves.
After all, theyre mostly just showing their cars to their mates and to each other.

Time the harassment stopped.

Pity about the turd tho....

I think the advice the CC needs is as follows.
Please give me the strength to change what can be changed, the patience to live with that which I cannot change and the wisdom to be able to see which is which.
These people will not be stopped, it's what they do whether we like it or not. They had settled to an area where they annoyed the least people and seemed quite happy, so dimwit "pokes the wasp nest" and creates resentment, congestion, and wastes police resources when they are already overstretched. This achieved what positive results ?????
I don't suggest allowing street racing, dangerous driving etc., to go unchecked, but if these cruisers can be kept largely out of the way of the general public then surely that is the best compromise ??
