Clean Break Order - anyone had one?

My online divorce with them has been almost completely painless - and they're offering the Consent Order for around £100. No reason to think that it will be any different.
I'm pretty sure it's dependent on both parties being amicable though - it's only the arguing that needs solicitor involvement.

Same here, £100 online, then off to the court for an official stamp
It's worth doing, as it protects against future claims - there was a thread on here a while ago about a guy who had been divorced 10 years and had remarried. He then won the lottery, and his ex wife wanted 'her share'
From memory, he ending up giving her a few million in an out of court settlement, as his solicitor said he would lose in court, as there was no clean break agreement at the time of divorce

Sorry I haven't replied sooner. In my case it was sorted by solicitors, as the ex was not amicable, and in fact she was downright obstructive. My bill came to a shade over £2,000 but the peace of mind is priceless.
One of her arguments was that we'd split the house, debts, savings and agreed child support, so why did we need a Consent Order. Now 5 years later, she has spent the equity from the house sale, got no savings and complains about lack of money. If I had no Consent Order, my bet is that she'd have been back to court asking for more, as I work and she hasn't worked for the past 15 years.
