Timeout question.......
Discussion
Received a NIP for speeding on A1 in Notts (camera van), asked to see photo evidence before admitting driving.
Two photos arrive, impossible to see who was driving but I am not disputing that it would have been me - BUT of the two photos the second says "TIMEOUT".
Question is - does this matter? is this a technicality that I can query before sending off my licence for my first points in 30 years?

If there is a photo WITH the speed on it and your numberplate shown clearly BUT without "timeout" on it you're screwed. If there isn't... write and ask them for one... I did it, they couldn't supply one and the case was dropped.
Cheers Blueyes, I have just written asking for just that.
The first of the photos, with the crosshairs, is pretty distant and even with a magnifying glass you could only guess at half of the numberplate.
The closer view (2nd photo)is clear but this is the one with TIMEOUT on it - worth a try!!
