More people die due to picking up bugs in hospital ( MRSA & the like ) than are killed on the roads.

Picked this up from Kiwi radio !

MMM, and there are plenty more deaths in myriad other areas of our lives sufficent to render the "speed kills" fraternitie's efforts virtually meaningless.

Remember a tiny fraction of the deaths on the road each year are because of excessive speed and even they are often down to joyriding and car chases etc where the driver will not be bothered by any form of speed control.

More deaths down to smoking, salt intake, NHS errors and so on. Speed control obsessives need to find another hobby.

Disband the scamera partnerships, give the employees a mop and bucket each and send them to the nearest hospital.

And make sure the doctors and nurses wash their flipping hands... given that washing of hands was originally a dramatic breakthrough in reducing hospital deaths, long, long ago, it beats me that they seemingly can't be bothered these days.
