I'd agree

Now having the use of a laser unit I can see it's VERY VERY EASY to target any number of cars, leaving the speed indicated from a previous vehicle displayed on the device. Yes there is a time limit but the chances are those in the back office viewing the video eveidence are being pushed to get everything through the system, errors are ebing made & on a daily basis I reckon.

Get the evidence regardless!!

Can't access the link, and don't know if the unit is used here, but in S Africa there was a scam where the scamera was set to its alternative function of recording distance and as neither units nor function were indicated on the photo they could sucessfully prosecute for eg being 5 metres over 30 metres away!

A PENSIONER has been issued with a speeding summons for driving at 0mph in a 30mph zone.

Stanley Miller,72, faces a penalty charge of £60, three points on his licence and possible court action if he does not pay up.

The Fencepiece Road, Barkingside, resident was baffled when he received the letter stating that he had been flashed by the camera exceeding 30mph in Elm Park, Romford, but the recorded speed shown on the penalty notice is 0 mph.

Mr Miller claims there was no photograph provided of his car at the scene of the incident which is usually sent with the penalty letter.

"I admit I was there at the time stated, but I am not willing to pay a fine or get three points on my licence for driving at 0mph.

"I went to the police station to complain about the notice and they just laughed at me.
