Surrey's black MPV ???

Toddling back along the A3 this late afternoon, we came upon an accident off the carriageway (all OK, no debris).

Very shortly afterwards two of Surrey's finest TrafPol cars were seen heading from Guildford in the direction of the accident site (presumably to attend). They were followed at speed by a black MPV with darkened side windows and alternating blue lights in the grill. The Armco (R) prevented me seeing the registration and I'm not familiar with MPV models (sorry). But, worth a careful study of any black MPVs you see around the highways and byways of Surrey before you blast past at "anti-Brumsturmfurher" speeds.

It was probably a Ford Galaxy you saw. I saw a black / dark blue Ford Galaxy matching that description on the A331 on Saturday. It was attending and had flashing blue lights behind the grill.

I live in surrey & drive a black MPV with dark windows
now ware did I see the add for blue lights.
the little black badge on the back might be a give away

In the situation that you describe, it was probably Trafpol, or Accident/collision investigation.

However, in my force unmarked MPVs are used for Armed Response duties.
