current night out on the sat saw me walking 1/4 mile from one pub to another... whilst on this "warm" night a car passed mewith blue neons underneath them. I saw 4 officers by the side of the road at the time and nothing was said. are they still illegal for road use?

but seeing as all this undercar neons and coloured LED malarkey is a Gay messaging wossname won't this action be classed as discriminatory and non PC??

As long as they don't make it compulsory!

Only illegal if you can see the tubes Mr Street. A glow itself isnt illegal. Saying that there is only one place you can put them where a policeman who is very determined (and doesnt mind getting himself dirty) can find them, which is fitted under the overhang on sideskirts. No I dont have them, but a mate does and he was stopped but because the tubes werent visible they sent him along on his way.

You're point is correct..

I just can't fathom why the chavs would want to draw the BiBs attention to them. It's surprising how many chavs with neons have no seat belts, just out of tax or are speeding or doing something else wrong. The only reason they caught my eye in the tide of vehicles was their neons...

It's like a beacon saying..."Hey..over here...look what I'm doing wrong..."...

To be honest if I was a policeman I would stop any one with Neons, either likely to be uninsured or have drugs in the car. With some exceptions of course.

I outsmarted a policeman. :d

The legendary Policeman's wit. Dont seem like a bad "Copper." Not like the only ones I've had "brushes" with.
