My car is registered through the company.
An NIP has been sent to the company asking for the name of the driver.
However, the date of the alleged offence is the 22nd June and the NIP is dated the 14 of July and was received here on the 19th if July.
They have therefore taken 22 days to issue the NIP,and a further 5 days to post it.
I know it's normally 14 days, but do they have some leeway when dealing with a company car ?
I would love to write to them and say "22 days, tough luck" but I'm not 100% sure of the company car thing.
Any advice ???

Is the car registered in the name of the company, or is it a lease car. If a lease car then the original would have been sent to the lease company first, who then said it was your company, thus this would be the second NIP and thus 'probably' OK.

If the car is registered to the company and this is the first NIP then yes, they are 'out of time'.

It's a leased car,so looks like they may have their 'out' ??
What about checking with the leasing company if they received the NIP in time ?
Worth doing,or a waste of time ?
Cheers

Probably a waste of time, as you got it fairly early, however still worth doing, you never know....
