Sat in the mother of all traffic jams on the M4 last night.

All of a sudden, sirens in the distance.

Then a brand spanking new Jag XJ with blue lights behind the grill. Then a blue Astra diesel estate without any lights sirens, then a brand new BMW 5 series with the lights behind the grille again go past weaving their way through the traffic.

So why all the fuss?

Also, two cars, best part of £80K do you really need such vehicles?

Thats what I couldnt understand, it was like the BMW and the Jag were running as protection for one bloke in an Astra Estate.

Probably the Chief Super late for a flight...

Heading out of London between Jctns 3 and 4?

That was very handy for me - I get on the M4 at Langley to head home and the M4 was really free flowing because everything was snarled up further back.

Yeah could have been I suppose, must have been something hefty though like a Liver because most things like that go by these new fangled bikes...
