Accident/breakdown kit

Hi-vis jacket, camera (on phone), pen and paper. The old car used to have 1st aid kit, but not added one to this car yet.

I normally carry a large, thick skiing jacket to keep me warm should something happen but other that the standard mobile and AA car that's it!

2) First Aid Kit
3) Fire Extinguisher
4) Disposable camera
5) Blanket/rug
6) Police yellow jacket
7) Pocket notebook/pen (no, I don't carry HORT/1s)

Not transferred stuf over to the new car yet but normally:

Cheap camera, tow rope, First Aid kit, jump leads, basic tools and there's often some boots & high viz jackets in there if I've been working on site.

Baby wipes & disposable latex gloves are good for anything where you might get a bit oily (Ooh err missus)

Nope...no spare bulbs...(unless I travel to the continent)

I forgot the torches though..I keep two maglights in the car...

Thats it we've all got to follow SC's example now and carry Police Hi Viz jackets in our cars. (unless you're Mungo of course in which case you'll already be driving round with it hanging from the rear coat hook, allegedly of course )

Serious point though...

Hi Viz waistcoar or jacket is absolutely invaluable. Whether you come across an accident, involved in one or merely brake down, you're in very real danger of getting knocked down.

For the sake of a few pounds, a HI VIS waistcoat folds up to next to nothing and will be hidden away in your boot until you need it.

(There are some saddos who put them on the parcel shelf for some bloody reason...Closet coppers, IMO)

*Don't technically carry these JUST because sh!t might happen, I need these in the course of my job, but they haven't half come in handy
