Just a quickie, or I'll be late for work (ooer).

"Routine" check yesterday. Quick PNC on car - "No current keeper". Car stopped.

Driver into my car. He too is "No trace" on PNC... locked up for no insurance/driving licence under S25 PACE 1984.

Correct details then given.

He is one of our out of town target drug dealers, with £$££$ on him, a nice pack of crack cocaine and some reefer.

Car, £$£$£$£, drugs, mobile phones seized. Him to hospital for an "examination"...

All from a routine traffic stop.

Who needs traffic departments when we've got cameras and ANPR?

Und we all know that PC Gatso has no Bobby's nose - in fact - prove just how inept robo cop really is!

Like said before - we need these guys on the road cos they do more than just cop the bad drivers - they stand more chance of catching real criminals too!

Last Thursday,

Sent to a van theft in a remote area, 3X scrotes made off. Area search leads me to find 3X scrotes in a ropy mitsubishi parked in an area that I would not have expected them to be in.

Search of driver reveals a passport that has been tampered with, Search of the vehicle reveals 2X handguns, dagger and 3X clubs hidden in the rear of the car in spare wheel well!

I am now faced with being in a remote area, alone with more weapons than I have hands for and prisoners to match them. None got away though !

Congrats to all the excellent work by the BiB! Arresting drug peddling filth after such an intuitive PNC check was a sound result.

Such people should be boiled alive in their own excreta, in my humble opinion. If the odd speed camera has to be used to manage vehicle speeds in order to free our Bill for such work, then that's something I'll accept quite willingly.

Good to know that the guys are out there pulling such scum for their murderous criminal activities. I do hope that the steps to the cells weren't too 'non-slip'....??

No,no,no Nick. You missed the point. More Gatsos = less coppers in total (not just in traffic) = less results like above. Get rid of the gatsos and put more coppers on the ground.
