Must applaud the driving standards of the general public this morning...

The weather was bad, rain/mist and I felt sure I would be in for a busy morning....accident/collision wise.....However, I was wrong..there was only one accident in 40 sq miles.. and the other motorway car dealt with that...

I've spent the last couple of days working the motorways....(not my usual haunt...)..Might be though in a month or two's time, if I get through an interview...

I've enjoyed it actually..

Shurrup about speed bloody cameras...

Don't know what made people 'safe' this morning..I did see a bit of tail gaiting and some other bad practises, but people seem to have been lucky this a.m.

Not so yesterday evening Street. It was coming down like stair rods, M1 was standing water, I was down to less than 50mph and could see a car behind me but couldn't tell it was a Traffic Car because visibility was so poor. People were still ripping past at stupid speeds. What a load of Ws

It wouldn't be if you tried to deal with a girl of that name in our French office every day.

To me it's a name that makes me want to tear my hair out, second only to the name Irene, (which makes me want a baseball bat).

Yes I thought it looked like that type of kit. ICI Wilton Works, Middlesbrough was where I worked until about 32 years ago. Very sorry to see they've been going through some hard times this past few years.

Best wishes all,
Dave.
