West Yorkshire's unmarked police bike

Have a look at this beauty...



West Yorkshire's tool for playing around with miscreant drivers..It's a 1100cc Honda Blackbird....

Notice the blue light at the bottom of the screen under the word 'Police'..

It also has a video camera built into the front nose fairing, just under the headlight..The screen and recorder is in the TopBox...

Obviously from the side it resembles a police bike a bit more, but from the front, when it's only in your mirror????

Be afraid, be very afraid...

I believe the rider wears all black suit with white helmet.
Velcro patch on chest with pull down section to reveal the word 'Police'.

PS: I've seen a few commuting Blackbirds with top boxes on. Don't fancy it on mine though.

The problem with many bike mirrors is that, if you can see past your elbows etc, it is quite difficult to see detail on the bike behind you.

By the time you suspect something, it'll be too late ...

So would you class that as 'in uniform' then? I wouldnt stop for something looking like that - it looks like someone has just stuck police stickers on it!
