Court Advice - HELP!!

Whilst filling out some forms for my speeding court summons I have noticed that it is THIS monday not the one after, I'm pleading guilty and not attending etc but they say that the papers should be with the court at least a week before, they're not likely to get there til Monday which is the day of the hearing, can I ring them? Are they likely to take a dim view of this?

Give them a bell and explain. On Court date having had no responce and can prove service of summons then they have the option of adjourning and fixing another date or going into application for warrant of arrest (doubtful).

Having to go to Court for speeding ,unless other offences also, looks as if they want to have a look at you for possible D%6*&@@cation, but if they have given you the option to plead by post you may be lucky. But again on hearing the evidence they adjourn for sentence and request you appearance.
