Gentlemen,

Would appreciate any thoughts you may have on THIS thread.

1/ Are the police obliged to provide any other photos/video that I have already requested by letter. (Video which may show the 'road rage' incident some 3-5 seconds before speeding photo was taken.)

2/ Although you were not witness to the incident - would you hang around in a potentially dangerous situation or 'floor' it as I did to safely move forward into a space? Just what DOES one do when confronted by road rage? (Broad question I know!)

Thanks for any pearls of wisdom.

The police aren't obliged to provide anything...however, should do and usually do do in most circumstances.

If what you say is true, and you 'sped' away from some road rage incident, then that is what you must convince the court. You could convince them even without any video evidence, actually. Mention the Kenneth Noye v Stephen Cameron incident on the M25 as an example.

Best of luck if what you say is true...

Thanks Streetcop ........ interesting. I'll await to see if my local police help out with any useful evidence.

Fortunately I had a passenger who can confirm the incident - albeit I'm not sure if she's considered an 'ideal' witness as it's my daughter lol !

Thanks again.
