One thing though. Logic would suggest that as they couldn't find you they would have checked your address and nipped round to arrest you. They obviously had the car details.

What better way to find out about a crime than reading a forum telling you how somebody got one over on the system?. Information is power my friend.

Well, I am sure the internet is a useful place for the government to collect it's information on the population. However, there have been plenty of 'how fast have you gone' threads on PH and I doubt that the threads could ever been used as evidence against the posters since I am sure that most of it is 'male-bravado-pub-talk-rubbish'.

Edited to say... and anyone could log in on my work PC and state that once I drove 71mph on the M1. Anyway, I am sure they'll change some laws soon and everything that you say on the net will be regarded as 'under oath'
