Good morning, I am of limited technical use and I could do with someone telling me how much of the wiring I would need to get when i remove the LRC100 from the wreckage of my write off.
I can see the unit itself and it looks undamaged but I fear the wires to it will be no longer and I want to know if they can be rewired easily etc.
Thanks in advance

I'm guessing that it's just the jammer and the buzzer unit? As long as you cut of the various connectors as well you should have no problem reqiring with appropriate wiring diagram.

Are these units hard to obtain these days?

All you really need is the jammer itself and a couple of feet of cable ( ideally the suppresser coil as well located close to unit, its a clip on coil ).
You can extend the cable yourself with some suitable shielded cable, the buzzer and switch are maplin bits.

The units are readily available from radar detector places.
And thanks for the advice, i'll go and try and extricate it from the wreckage at the weekend.

On a similar question where can you get a garage door sensor for the garage door that works off the LRC100?

Might prove useful one day to have a use for it . . .

If its in the USA let me know quick so I can get one this weekend !

Cheers
