Unmarked police bike close ups
Discussion
Have a close look at the Honda ST1100 Pan European unmarked police motorcycle:
Here is the front of the dark green bike. The camera for recording traffic offences is arrowed and the clear lights mounted on top of each indicator flash blue when activated.
Below is the rider's view. All of the regular motorbike controls are there, with added police radio, speed checking equipment and lights and siren activation switches.

any idea of which forces use them
That particular bike was one that Derbyshire was using, i'm led to believe. Most forces use unmarked bikes, but numbers are only small. Usually dark in colour and very difficult to see

But won't the rider have to be in uniform to pull you? I can understand it if unmarked bikes worked with marked cars, but it seems that a useful bike working alone would have to have a uniformed officer on it, negating the unmarked aspect of the bike.
Yes and no. The 'uniform' aspect of a motorcycle policeman only means being identified as a police officer. My own force has an unmarked kit that includes a white helmet with police on the front of the chin section of the helmet. The clothing is all in black with a large police sign on the chest with a velcro patch, allowing the flap to be turned up.
Remember only a few years back..all motorcycle cops wore were black leather suit, white helmet with police written on it and a blue/white chequered 'Sam Brown' belt.

Blimey perhaps its me, but he seemed to be driving pretty slowly really.
I can believe it, when it says at the end that no speed limits were exceeded. My Mum drives quicker than that.
