I'm told that my niece is very pleased with the birthday present I just sent her... a police vehicle depot with patrol cars and recovery trucks. Her dad / my BiL is a policeman, so she likes police stuff, and this vehicle depot seemed to hit the spot. She's 4.

That kind of thing set me off, aged about 4....then 20 years later it came true...

I often catch me and the cop car in the reflection of shop windows and think...well done mate...

It's important to achieve your dreams...(even if they are small dreams in my case..)

Steady on , Street, old chap. Brunstrom admits to gazing at his reflection.

Sounds like you might be on the slippery slope to irrational burbling.

Know what you mean. My son (2 1/2) is straight in the front of the RX8 as soon as the door's opened. Wouldn't mind but his shoes scuff the leather something chronic

Sorry, but it`s another trucking story! I used to work out of Boulogne fish market many moons ago, picking up fish along the south coast and running to market overnight. I had a French registered LHD truck. My son was about two/three and used to come with Dad. I had a child seat securely held in with ratchet straps and I bought him one of those steering wheel/dashboard things that the Early Learning Centre sell.

It was always a laugh getting overtaken by coaches on the motorway as the first thing the passengers would see was Towsprog driving the truck! (LHD remember).

Towsprog used to come with me all the time, but now (thank goodness) he has grown out of the habit and wants to get a proper job!
