On the way to work this morning (on the North Devon Link road) it took me a long time to pass a van while doing 85mph. "What's so strange about that" I hear you say.

Well it was a "safety camera partnership van" It was doing about 83-84Mph in a 70 zone.

The hypocrisy of the speed camera clan makes me sick!!!!!!!

...apart from he is very hypocritical in doing so.

Isnt there some statute in law that states that evidence gained through illegal means is not admissable?

Surely if this guy speeds to a site to set up a speed trap then any evidence therein is annuled?

This "one rule for them one rule for us" crap makes me

You should have pointed your hair dryer at him. Would love to see the look on his face...

You should have pulled alongside and got a passenger to hold up a sign saying "Slow Down - Speed Kills!"

This level of hypocrisy makes my blood boil...

The ultimate solution?
In the unlikely event that you happen to have a handy passenger & DV Camera on board:

Overtake,
pull back in a couple of hundred yards ahead,
gently slow to 70mph
video your speedo @ 70mph & then pan to the van as it speeds back past.

Send 1 copy to your local BiB & the other to the SCP whose van it was & threaten to go to your local media & embarass the hell out of them if they don't take any action.

They deserve every bad thing that happens to them!

Imagine being a BIB and catching them doing that. The satisfaction of issuing 3 points and £60 in as robotic and non-emotional way as possible
