Date of Conviction

Ok got a odd one, just looked at my licence to check when I was convicted of speeding (fixed penalty SP30)

Only thing is I only have a date of offence hand written, and no date of conviction

IIRC your points get removed from date of conviction not date of offence so whats going on?

My spent (sp50) had both dates on it.

Does anyone think this didnt go to court and was just completed as a matter of course?

Phone [phone] and ask for date of offence and date of conviction. If you get both then it is on your record at DVLA.

So the number is proving usefull then?

From a previous thread I thought they may have not entered the points as they were hand written, but they had.

Disposed of the envelope as well, wanted to see if it was sent second class.
