I think they are called Burkas..........how safe is it for a lady to wear a full black hood with just a eye slit to drive a car..........visability must be seriously impared......as road safety is paramount to the goverment should this be looked at or is it racially too sensative??

Please note this isnt meant to be insulting to anybody, its just an observation.

IMO, much worse. A bike helmet is absolutely snug to your head and it all moves with you (obviously). Burkas dont seem to be like that.....ie you'll lose progressively more peripheral vision as you turn your head.

When I lvied in Leics for several years it always struck me that committing a crime dressed in this manner would make it amazingly hard to id you.....

Nothing like a motorcycles helmet...

Modern helmets have visors that perfect show the view of the road ahead. My peripheric vision ends before the visor ends..

But you don't need any peripheral vision to pass the driving test...
