I requested the photos in respect of a NIP, thinking they would prove that I was the driver and I was speeding.

But this morning I recieve two photos of the rear of my car with no date or time and no details of the speed I was travelling, is this normal am I being thick or is this all the evidence?

It's a fixed camera on a duel carriage way they said I was doing 55mph in a 40 which is unlikely, it's a crapy old rover deisel and the camera is just after a roundabout, it just doesn't do acceleration.

Hmm a lot of fixed cameras display the date time and speed.

Id be tempted to ask, how come there is no date, time or speed on this photo, how do I know that this photo isnt 1 year old etc.

Do the pictures not show the road markings (i.e do they show your car in two positions so you can work out, from the white lines on the road, how fast you were going?)

One of them does, but surely the time would need to be recorded on the photos.

It looks like the top right hand corner of the photo has been "edited" is this normal?

Id ask for both images that show the date and time of this offence, not just pictures of your car with no information on them

Write, saying you don't know how to complete the form, as you don't believe you are guilty. Ask for photographs with time on so you can double check.

This has proved on numerous occasions that Gatso's DO make errors and you need to have their evidence checked.

Yes weren't you visiting your mum on that day at a place far away? You're sure you weren't anywhere near a gatso and speeding, surely not!

If that fails you need to get your wife to complete the form for you, he he! Wonder if a husband is as good?
