Hi

Quick question to the boys

I "may" have been whizzing along the A55 nr chester and may have been tagged I think from the Wrxham junction bridge with a laser...

Bike down the road parked up did not give chase.

Question is can I still get done by the officer on the bridge if he just notes down my reg and speed?

Regards

You mean that dangerously wide, well-made and modern dual carriageway that goes into Wales? What were you thinking

If the police bike didn't bother then you're probably OK, but I was done by a laser from a m'way bridge, NIP in the post a few days later. Looks like you've got a couple of weeks of waiting for postie every day

Mr Womble hits the nail on the head.

Bridge Plod can enter into the Conditional Offer procedure same as a camera flash.

NOIP within 14 days to Reg. Keeper, not including day of the offence is a must and by Reg/Recorded Delivery/First Class post.(Second class is not acceptable).

This will be accompanied by Section 172 Form to name driver, offence not to do so and sign. 28 days to return. After which conditional offer will be made. Pay 60 collect 3 points (depending on speed). If your not happy with this and have questions/don't think it right, you can elect a Court hearing.

and please sign the form.
wasn't that £750 fine DVD the other day?

I didn't know about the first class or recorded delivery though, and I've thrown away the old envelope thing.

Had something to do with the extremely poor resurfacing job that was done on that stretch of the A55.

The contractor wriggled out on a typo in the contract.
