As I'm going on the track this weekend could someone please tell me the location of all the Gatso and Truvelo Speed Cameras.

Or am I being paranoid?

Yay! Got my tickets for this through the other day.. 15 minutes isn't long but long enough for a track virgin like me.

I think the best bet to avoid scameras (fixed or mobile) is to take it easy on all appraoches and exits - I would expect the BiB to be out in force on Sunday. Save it for the track!

Don't worry, there are no cameras on the track. Drive as fast as you like.

ahhh! I called my friend up, turns out he already has tickets. Keen ford fan.

He should be there in his escort cossie - converted to a 4Ltr V8... you can't miss it.

Couple of fixed cameras on the A43 on the way there. If you are coming from the M1 direction, there's a camera at the Blissworth turning between the M1 and the A5 roundabout (partly obscured by the sign). If you are coming from the M40 (Brackley) direction, there's a camera (on both sides) at the Green Man pub just before Silverstone.

The A43 is also a favorite haunt for the mobile van (nice wide long good new road etc), but can't vouch for where that will be. As previous post said, prob best leave it for the track.

(BTW - the fixed cameras are at "suicide" right turns where turning traffic crosses the other carriage way, so you probably would want to lift a bit there).

I'll be there too

You can be sure Plod will be on a major Chav hunt as it's the sort of event that attracts them along with proper car enthusiasts.

Shame we only get 15 minutes on track, but at least you can say you've done the GP Circuit

If any PHers fancy coming over to say "Hi!" I'll be on the FDUK (rx-7) stand.

Be aware there's a police motorbike in the area with video. He has NO discretion over prosecution. All the other bikes have laser only and can exercise discretion.
