My laser jammer works
Met up with cptsideways at the weekend, went over the thing trying it from different angles, different speeds and all sorts.
The last test I had done was the SLD920 on the bike.
This time it was the SLD920X on the car. ATG could not get a lock whatsoever from around 15 metres with the jammer switched on.
The jamming gave up no "error" or "help" codes on the gun (Kustom Prolaser) just like the LTI and the SLD920 and we also did a test where he fired at his own time and I had to switch the jammer off asap to avoid suspicion. I did so and it was confirmed that the jammer gave off nothing suspicious as look as used "properly"
So thumbs up to cptsideways for helping me with that (your reward will be on its way soon mate
) and thanks to Snooper for making such a quality product, and thanks to the Safety Camera partnership for using the most easily circumventable speed trap measure going

Ps if anyone from the scamera partnerships wishes to bore me into how they can detect these things, dont bother. I know a lot more about these guns and jammers than you may think.... plus I dont care what you think because you probably have a beard.

Its a jam indication.
Goes off with the older jammers (M10 BLinder and the LRC800) as they send back too many pulses so the gun knows it is being jammed.
The ones I have are adaptive so they fool the gun without setting off any warnings.
All hail to the snooper and its beardy destroying goodness

I would never use a laser jammer, but the garage door opener I am considering operates on a similar frequency

Anyone tested the LT450?

that is so blaitent!!! Nice bit of advertising there. Funny how it operates on the 904nm range...

Ghost, I got a beard and I don't spout bollocks
I'm tempted to get one of these myself, not for the car, but for my bike. Would it be easy to fit? any advice would be appreciated. I'm only ten miles away if you needed to have a look at the bike. After all its terrbly difficult to operate the garage remote with cold hands when I get home after a run
. Also any advice as to which is the best piece of kit would be useful.

What about the LRC100 - same issue as LRC800 or was that mistyped?

Phil, mail me offline if you want and you can come and see the SLD920 on my bike as a comparison if it helps.

I've got a beard too, (Noel Edmunds style as well), but I'm about set to give the good old mark 1 eyeball some technical help. Which of these bits of kit should I be looking at, where from, and is it transferrable from car to car, and car to bike?
Thanks in advance.

start with looking at the reviews on www.ukspeedtraps.com and then you can purchase from www.snooper.co.uk or www.beldirect.co.uk i think.
Any further technical info or expericnce based info with either Origin Bluei, Snooper SLD920 / 920X, Snooper S1 / S2 please feel free to mail me offline.
