You really would have thought that they would have proper crooks to catch wouldnt you?

Way to go TVP, what a marvellous way to get the public to help your cause.

Do the police drive around with cordless hairdryers, in case they have to remove stubborn car stickers?

Perhaps I should flag down the next copper I see, I've got a really annoying dealers sticker in my BM, that won't budge.

On a serious note. They really have put their size 9's in it with this one...

mungo.
Doesn't this aptly illustrate the inconsistancies between the different Police forces. IMHO the current proposal for a single Police force has obvious benefits

I'm guessing that it's something to do with obscuring the view, or possibly incitement to something or other, causing offence, etc.

Interesting. In that case, I want one of those cash machine stickers. I'd love the opportunity to argue that one out with the police in the current mood I'm in!

Surely there is a 'right to free expression' case to be answered here.

Freedom of expression? Unlike the USA free speech is not a right guaranteed in law in this country.

I would imagine it could be confiscated as evidence of an offence (obscured windows?).

However if I were the driver I would insist that the case is proceeded with, because it would show the stupidity that a person is prosecuted for a single sticker when I regularly see people with a dozen "save the whales" type style stickers in their back window, and those terrible photo cutouts of dogs...

Free speech? In the US? When did that happen? Does Linda Ronstadt know?

Do you think they could start confiscating some of those Baby on Board stickers that take up half of the back window?

Oh, and I love the signature of one of the blokes on that Scooby site: "I actually have a photographic memory, but unfortunately an amateur photographic memory, mainly glamour shots, out of focus, peoples heads cut off, for a few years of my life my memory is blank, where I left a lens cap on my face!"

I've often thought about producing 'cretin on board' to affix to other peoples cars.
