My wife got rear ended on the MWay after braking to avoid an accident infront of her and the lady that hit her tried to contest the insurance! Insurance were having none of it thankfully but looked like we would have to go to court.

A few weeks later the insurance informed us she had withdrawn the claim and it all wnet thourgh and we thought no more of it. About a month later we got a letter from the BiB to say she had been prosocuted (can't remember what for) and had to attend a driver retraining type course.

It was so refreshing to receive the letter, gave us some confidence in the BiB and obviously saved us having to go to court. Thought I should write this as so many topics seem to be moaning about our BiB...

Probably for driving without due care and attention.

Good stuff...

Thanks for that upday mate...

Hope your wife is better now and getting back into the swing of driving again...

Hopefully, the Driver improvement scheme the other driver went on will iron out any problems and perhaps prevent future such occurances.
