Anyone know what happned? I heard a truck fell over and killed the driver?

Westbound truck went through central reservation at Northolt around 11.30am. Killed truck driver.

Driver dies as lorry overturns

Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision. A lorry travelling west bound along the A40 close to the Polish War Memorial at 11.26am crossed the central reservation barrier and overturned in the eastbound lane. The driver died at the scene.

Next of kin have been informed but he has not been formally identified.

The A40 remains closed between the Target roundabout on A40 and Swakeleys roundabout. The M25 junction eastbound on the A40 is also closed. Road closures will remain in place until atleast 7pm.

Any witnesses to the accident should call Alperton Traffic unit on 0208 998 5319

That will take a while - any chance of a clue? I used to run the police recovery contractor in that area.
