Got the b2 and very impressed so far...

got B2 last week, very impressed. Get one! just downloaded the latest database from origin and it now features a "speedo" mode that basically lets it display LARGE digital speedo when in non-alert mode, obviously when it needs to warn you about something the display changes.

Quality piece of kit although I have two problems with it

1) It crashes on startup occasionally if it has problems locking onto the satellites

2) It has a nasty habit of jumping out of its cradle and thus resetting it. Not a big deal but it can get very annoying with the multitude of beeps that it makes while it starts

Otherwise an indispensible item

I'm currently in discussion with Origin with respect to fixing this, as mine has started doing it as well.

I find it a most useful gadget!

Steve C disapproves of them - but then - it deprives him of his income

But ... school warning, early scam warning, speedo on dash, reminder of speed limit being enforced, black spot warning, kengestion warning,

A truly useful gadget ....

Thanks for that...I hadn't noticed.

Great fearure...the original speedo was hard to see.

Someone mentioned in another thread you need to turn the magnet round that holds it in
