SPECS on M621?

Maybe not the right forum but hey! Are the cameras just after the Beeston exit of the M621 heading into the city SPECS? There is a set on one gantry and then later about a mile down the road on another gantry. This is the first i have seen of them and i drive that stretch of road quite a lot.

Unless they're on blue poles with i think yellow housings on an independent pole they are not specs. if they are on the overhead gantry then they are traffic cameras. cant recall seeing any, but haven't been there a while. infact just checked west york safety camera there's nothing on m'ways in w. yorkshire

If these are the Ones on green gantries there are for congestion monitoring. Supposedly they could be used for charging.

There's a gatso on the M606 near Bradford. Guess the list isn't up to date!

I thought they might be traffic cameras but it seems strange that they are on every lane, just looked a bit suspicious!

tis true, and you cant really speed thorugh there anyway wot wiv it being so busy and all! just an unpleasant surprise!

Dont know if they are speed or charging cameras but have been through there rather rapidly 120-130mph (not me driving!) and nothing flashed!!

A little bit O/T but...on the M1-A1 link in that neck of the woods there are poles every couple of miles with 2 cameras on,one looks across the carriage way, the other down it.Across the carriage way adjacent to the cameras are 2 lines 2-3metres apart. Any ideas what these are?

More like me being dozy, m606 was on the list. Anyway, I class that as a camera on a slip road onto westbound M62 where the limit goes down to 50. Sos about the error anyway.

Whew, just when through there and those camera look mean, and using Ka band.....I was worried.....Though no blue poles or yellow bits.......

Plus those ones in the city with about 3 camera per lane look interesting think they could be the A61...

The ones on The M621 you'll also find on the Belle Isle Road, (Speed humps and Chicanes galore), The Wakefield Road by the Punch Clock Pub and Robin Hood Lane in Rothwell. They are testing a Congestion charge system so are watching you . Speeding has no effect on them. There are Bl@@dy ugly tho.
