Tuesday's Child ....
Discussion
... is full of claws!
Just thought I would let all you nice folks on here know ....even though it has nowt to do with speeding....double white lines .... and so on and so on...
At four minutes to midnight yesterday - I became a Papa for the fifth time.
Wildy had been restless most of the weekend....and went back to bed yesterday - and managed to sleep through the early contractions
About 6 p.m. - heard shriek from the bedroom and realised this was IT!
Rushed off - in greatest hurry to hospital - remembering to put on the green light
and interpreting the speed limit failrly "liberally"
(Good job there were no vans around at the time..... )
After a bit of name calling, unladylike language and attempts to break my fingers ....a baby girl arrived - weighing in at at sound 7 lb 5 oz, "ten little claws.... ten little claws", healthy set of lungs and a voice to match (takes after her Mama already
)
As I cradled my new daughter - her eyes opened - Wildy's blue/green eyes and the same direct look examined my face and burst into tears (Now I am not that ugly surely
) - handed her back to her Mama where child made bee-line for Wildy's cleavage....
Wildy is fine - by the way - bit stiff, bit tired and bit sore - but otherwise fine and no doubt she will be back annoying Streetcop and TripleS et al fairly soon. She is being kept in hospital for couple of days or so as precaution - but she really is fine and well.
