It has been posted before...but no apologies needed...it's a good issue...

The first link is a Honda Deuville 650cc, the second is a Honda ST1100 Pan European 1100cc.

The camera bikes obviously have the ability to park more discreetly, yet still in view..

Like on the opposite side of a motorway bridge where you might be able to see them with a long, hard look in your rear view mirror, you mean, streetcop? ;-)

So is mine.

If they are obviously giving a serious benefit to road safety and the public are so 100% behind them, why are people complaining about them being on laybys etc?

So they are made LESS visible, and this is obviously going to gain MORE support??!?

What planet do these people come from????

For what its worth I saw one of these on the A5 some time back, just outside Crick. The occifer was pretty easy to spot in his tabbard alongside the bike, but without knowing that bikes have cameras if I had been "making progress" I'd have slowed gradually to avoid a dip giving the game away - and been knicked by the camera. Fortunately I wasn't, but 5 minutes earlier I'd have made his day (and ruined my year).

Now its just one more reason for unnecessary hard braking when making otherwise safe progress. I really must invest in a detector soon!
