"A NEW speed gun designed to target motorists at night is being tested by police.
The hand-held device takes two photos. Tester Steve Callaghan said: "One is wide angle and the other telephoto revealing the driver's face."
The gun also uses a softer pink flash so drivers are not dazzled - a problem which means cops currently cannot use existing cameras at night."

The only saving grace is that the image intensifiers need streetlighting to amplify. Good job the M4 is mostly unlit from Swindon to Bristol....
