Now I am sorry, but this is utter utter utter shit.
Before attempting to tug at peoples heart strings by posting links to ill informed quite frankly ridiculous unrelated photographs try looking at the fact concerning drug use.
It is without question that misinformation like this kills far more people than it saves.
Keep going on the crusade that keeps information out of the hands of people that require and get used to the fact that no matter how harsh the penalties, how good the spin and whatever the cost people will still take drugs. Then fall asleep knowing that you have led another person to the slaughter who could have been saved if information was free and accurate.
Its an utter fabricated mindless insult to intelligence that the world would be better off without.

I consider myself fortunate that I have never tried even mild drugs( despite growing up in the sixties flower power era), OR cigarettes (cancer sticks) in my life, and saved many thousands of pounds in the process.....
However, if somebody else wants to kill themselves thats up to them....it's their life....
However, whether you are for or against drugs, they are probably responsible for 50% of crime in this country, what with drug barons, turf wars and addiction, so I am sure any REASONABLE person would say the world would be a better place without them, but like the hydrogen bomb they aren't going to go away are they????

Actually, chemically smack isn't actually particually bad for you.
It's the total addiction that causes the problems.
I've toyed with various chemicals over the years. Always with my eyes wide open and fully aware of what I was getting myself into.
I appear to be fit and healthy, hold down a decent job and better balanced than an awful lot of the reactionary brigade......
....I've certainly never been anywhere near the heavy stuff though.

. Could it be that this sort of abuse may lead to examples of the photos in the drug abuse campaign?

Otherwise I quite agree, I get very tired of people who happily 'have a drink' or 'smoke tabs' but would never take 'drugs'. The only distinction is legality and the law is an ass. 'Drugs' consists of a multitude of substances with multifarious effects and contraindications, and certainly includes alcohol nicotine and caffeine.Wacky Racer said:

By who's figures?
How can you justify that 50% of all crime is directly linked to drugs?
You cant, its just another pointless statistic.
The easy answer is to legalise, they then become safe, standard and most importantly, revenue generating.
The upsides of legalisation FAR FAR FAR outweigh the downsides.
The harsh fact of the matter and this is something that REASONABLE people are going to have to wake up to is that the 'war on drugs' is lost. Prohibition has been seen to not work for the last 90 odd years, perhaps now, given we are supposedly a caring sharing society, is the time to try a different approach. If it doesnt work you can always change the law again...
