Mrs S' Sister needs to get her C1 & D1 license to enable her to apply for a job with the ambulance service..
She's had a good look around the DVLA/DVLC website to try and find out what forms are required to get the provisional so that she can start learning but can't seem to find anywhere on the site that actually lists what you need and where to get it!
Can anyone provide any advice on this one?

Off the top of my head, she will need a medical which your doctor will do for around £60. My training centre did mine for £20 but they paid for the doctor, I just paid them.
Once she has the medical she can then apply for her provisional C and D licences.
IIRC C1 is 7.5 Tonne and D1 is small PCV.
It is possible to do the C1 and D1 test, but for all the difference in money she would be better of doing the C and D licences.
BTW, if she passed her B test before 1 Jan 97 (I think) then she will already have a C1 licence (not sure about D1)

Edited to add, she will also need to do a Goods Vehicle Theory Test with the Hazard Perception stuff.
