If the car's got the full Battenburg, I can't see that it would make too much difference what colour the car is.

...and I should have read the post properly; fog = lights needed, no matter what sticky bits are on the motor.

Fog lights? what are you talking about? they had NO lights on at all. And a guy nearly pulled out of a junction beacuse he didnt see a silver car, in fog, without lights on.
