Stop and Account ?

Has anyone been stopped recently and had to account for their whereabouts etc with the result that they were given a 'Stop and Account' form from the Police Officer concerned?
Its already been in a few weeks but it must be said
'What a load of old tosh'
Free up Police from time wasting paperwork............where have i heard that before?

Its basically a lengthy form that is to be filled in by a Police Officer whenever he stops a person and asks them to Account for their actions etc.
It has been brought in so that the relavent 'bean counters' can keep a track on how many people of 'mixed race' are being stopped by Police.
Its the next stage down from a Stop and Search.
Its not black and white because there are times and occasions when you wont get one.
The one that springs to mind is Traffic Stops.
Let me see........i stop a person and ask them to account for themselves etc. Im then faced with filling in a lengthy form at the roadside or should i.......find something on their car or from their previous manner of driving and dish them out a quick ticket.
This then negates the need for the Stop and Account form.
Which option will the Officer take?

No...youre all getting the wrong end of the stick.
If you are stopped and asked to account for yourselves, say because theres a group of people sitting around and generally causing a nuisance for example.......if you are asked why youre sitting there etc etc, then the Officer is obliged to record all your details (if you give them) and you are entitled to a copy.
I can see 'Joe' scrote asking for one of these everytime hes stopped.

They've postponed the training and introduction of these forms here, because some bright spark in an office at the big house has decided that we may possibly be breaching some sort of data protection by recording the record of stop, so that a person from a minorty or "special population" group would now be recorded on a database, while going about their legitimate business, where they previously wouldn't have had their details recorded, so they may now be being discrimanated against...

We have had a number of breakins around me over the past few weeks. Undercover police are now around. Everytime I now go out the door I get stopped by a stupid plod - I now ask if they are going to issue this form as they have stopped me.
They now just leave me alone.
If you know you have not done anything wrong challenge them they will back down and eventually give up with this disgusting act of hacking down our civil liberties.
Fight fire with fire it really is the only thing these people understand.

What, the same officer, each time? He or she must get very tired if all they're doing is camping on your doorstep waiting for you to leave so they can challenge you for walking on the cracks in the pavement...

EH?!!! Tell you what, write in and demand that they remove the plain clothed Police attempting to protect your neighbourhood from crime. You can then have a good old whinge on here when your house gets turned over, slagging off the Police for picking on motorists when they should be out 'catching real criminals'.
But hey, at least your 'civil liberties' will be intact.....
