That's actually a very good idea - roadside pop quiz when people are breaking the law but not unsafe - at least that way some of the numpties might read the HC. Well done will!

Quite tricky was it?
It was the hardest four weeks of my Poice career to date. The first two weeks was intense driving giving an instructors commentary, so that people will understand your driving and learn from it.
At the end of the second week I had to pass a final drive of 1 hour duration being examined by an Police Inspector and be on intsrucional commentary for approx. 50 minutes.
The following two weeks comprised of giving lectures on Road Craft etc upto 30 minutes duration and having to answer questions on the subject asked by Senior Instructors.
We also were assesed on our ability to give insrtuction to stooge students (senior instructors)pick up their driving faults, correct them and help with their driving skills. You were assesed on your ability to be able to give demonstration drives to students, naking notes on students when they are driving giving feedback both good and bad.
At the end of the fourth week there was yet another final drive, this time with me sat in the instructors seat with a senior instructor acting as a student. It was a 50 minute duartion drive, again I was examined by a Police Inspector and again I had to watch the student and correct any mistakes, stop dangerous overtakes etc, give a debrief at the end and write an apparaisal on the drive.
There were numerous other bits and pieces such as skid pans/reversing vans, written exams etc..
